We call these flowers "hydrangias" in the South (USA). The come in blues, purples, and pinks like yours. They are very "old fashioned" and nostalgic, as well as beautiful. Need shade in afternoons, and lots of water. My grandmother's yard used to be filled with the blue variety, but many times they came out pink first, then changed to blue. Nice memories, nice image.
